OMG Miley Cyrus Topless Pictures

OMG Miley Cyrus Topless Pictures
I take one weekend off and Miley Cyrus decides to go topless? You got to be kidding me? She couldn't wait until Monday? The best part is, that it was Vanity Fair who decided to cash in on the tween star's flesh, so now the Internet doesn't look as sleazy.

Cyrus apologized to her fans in a statement to People: "My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz]. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."

"Artistic nudes" has always been a phrase pedophiles like to use as an excuse to look at little kids naked, but in Vanity Fair's defense all you really see is Miley's naked back, she just appears to be nude under a sheet.

Cyrus also addressed her bra flashing incident telling People: "The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone."

Poor Miley is really on track for the nervous breakdown of the century. She has three-years until she is 18, when she will become fair game for sleazy tabloids and Blogs like 2snaps. You would think we could leave her alone until then, but Miley Cyrus controversy is hot stuff.

Cyrus rose to superstar status on Disney's hit show, "Hannah Montana." She plays a regular girl by day -- famous rock star Hannah Montana by night.

When Cyrus first auditioned for the role of Hannah Montana, she was reportedly considered too young for the part, but her thousand-watt smile and bigger-than-life singing voice caught the Disney Channel's attention.

A teenage actress and pop star rises to dizzying fame spurred by a Disney TV show and a seemingly untarnished, virginal, old-fashioned good-girl image, only to find herself mired in a sex scandal.

It's not the Britney Spears story, or Christina Aguilera's, though both fit the story line. It's not even Hillary Duff's story.

This time, the tale belongs to Miley Cyrus.

Soon the teenage star was emulating her onscreen persona on stages, opening as Hannah Montana for The Cheetah Girls on tour and performing at Disney concerts.

After the successful release of a soundtrack in late 2006, it became apparent that the 14-year-old singer had the rock-star potential of her onscreen alter-ego. "Hannah Montana" was the first-ever soundtrack to debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200.

In the fall of 2006, Cyrus, performing as Hannah Montana, rocked sold-out venues across the country in her first 22-city tour.

Eight months later, Cyrus released a second album, but this time let the "regular" girl have a shot to shine as well. One disc was a follow-up soundtrack for "Hannah Montana," while the second was Cyrus' debut album. Cyrus co-wrote eight of the 10 tracks on the second CD.

Cyrus is reportedly on her way to a billion-dollar net worth by the age of 18 -- in addition to "Hannah Montana" paraphernalia, including everything from lunchboxes to a clothing line, Cyrus is working on her first feature film and a book deal.

As Cyrus' name transcended the tween crowd, rumors began to circulate about the squeaky-clean teen. In September 2007, Internet gossip forced the 14-year-old star to publicly deny reports that she was pregnant. In an interview with Extra!, the teen starlet cited her vow to stay celibate until marriage.

Cyrus kicked off a 54-city arena tour last fall -- tickets sold out in record times. The tour was then extended to include 15 more dates.

Cyrus dyed her locks dark brown and unveiled an edgier image at the the 2008 Grammy Awards.

Cyrus looked far more sophisticated than her 15 years in a red Valentino gown at the 2008 Oscars. The "Hannah Montana" star jumped from the small to the big screen in 2008 with a 3D concert movie.

In a statement Sunday, Cyrus said, " I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect." While it's clear that Cyrus will continue to grow up in the limelight, perhaps it's faster than her tween following.
